When to choose a 3-arm puller instead of a 2-arm puller?

The 3-arm puller is always a safer choice, as the pressure is evenly divided into three points (every 120 degrees), preventing the dislocated element from turning. The 2-arm puller is mainly used where the limited space prevents the third arm from being attached.

Does a hydraulic tractor require special maintenance?

Yes, hydraulic actuators require care to keep the piston clean and regular control of the level of hydraulic oil. It should also be remembered to lubricate the threads of the pull screw with graphite or molybdenum grease to avoid blurring them under heavy load.

How do I select a tractor for injectors to not remove the engine head?

The key is to select a set with an appropriate support frame, which is based on stable points of the head, and suitable adapters (often screwed into place of the coil). In the case of very sealed injection mouldings, we recommend the use of hydraulic pullers with a pump, which offer a smooth, not impacted increase in strength.
