Which lift to choose for a small workshop – two column or scissors?

The two column lift is more universal (access to wheels, suspension, gearbox), but requires a stable foundation. The scissor lift (especially low lifting) takes up less space and often does not require permanent anchoring, making it ideal for tyre services or quick express repairs.

What to pay attention to when buying a crane for an engine?

The key is not only the maximum load capacity (e.g. 2 tonnes), but above all the arm range and stability of the base. A high-quality workshop crane shall have a precise trigger valve which allows for a millimeter lowering of the engine into the chamber.

Is the engine stand safe with heavy V6/V8 units?

Yes, provided that the model is selected with the appropriate load rating (e.g. 450 kg or 900 kg). Our racks have reinforced heads and four adjustable arms, which provide a stable attachment of the engine and the ability to rotate it 360 degrees during regeneration.
