Gorilla Tape is a tape with an increased amount of strong natural rubber adhesive, reinforced with non-woven fabric and coated with a highly durable polyethylene film. It has excellent adhesion to materials with various surfaces such as wood, fibreglass and metal. It offers excellent protection against water vapour and high abrasion resistance. To increase the tape’s strength, two layers of adhesive and two outer layers of material have been used. This tape is waterproof and resistant to all weather conditions. It is very durable, yet can be easily torn by hand (without the use of scissors).
Gorilla Tape can be used for sealing in various applications such as surface protection, waterproofing, patching holes, and temporary joining – temporary repairs. The tape is not suitable for roofing or cladding applications. It is recommended to apply the tape to surfaces that are dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil or other substances that reduce its adhesion.
