TIMING CHAIN LOCK FOR BMW E46 M42, M44, M50, M52, M54 AND M56

These tools are also compatible with certain BMW 4- and 6-cylinder engines without Vanos (without variable valve timing).

SET CONTENTS:

CAMSHAFT SETTING HANDLE:

• Positions and holds the camshaft in place during cylinder head installation and timing chain replacement.
• Engines: M42, M44, M50, M52, M52TU, M54, M56, S50US, S52US.

TOP DEAD CENTRE SETTING PIN:

• Use to lock the flywheel at top dead centre when removing or replacing camshafts or VANOS units.
• Engines: M42, M43, M44, M50, M52, M52TU, M54, M56, M60, M62, M70, M73, S50B30, S50B32, S54, S62.

VANOS ROTARY WRENCH:

• Used to adjust the VANOS position on individual VANOS engines during removal or installation.
• Engines: M50, M52, S50US, S52US.
