Advanced timing locking set (model: CT3426) is a specialized set of service tools designed for precise positioning, locking and adjustment of camshafts and crankshafts in legendary diesel diesel diesel power units of the series M47 and M57. The kit is dedicated to handling engines with capacities 2.0L, 2.5L and 3.0L, fitted to vehicle brands BMW, Land Rover and Opel/Vauxhall.

The use of dedicated locking instruments guarantees maintaining the ideal service position of the crank and timing system in the Upper Dead Point (GMP). This allows stress-free replacement of the timing chain, injection pump operation or head regeneration, eliminating the risk of shifting the timing phases and costly collision of valves with pistons.
