ASTA CLUTCH DISC ALIGNMENT TOOL.

A universal device for locking the clutch disc, manually positioning (centring) and fitting the clutch disc to the pressure plate in passenger cars and vans during installation.

The set includes:

- 2 expansion sleeves for various diameters of bearings mounted in the crankshaft.

- 1 expansion sleeve with a very wide adjustment range for shafts without a clutch shaft support bearing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Screw the central pin into the sleeves – with the taper facing downwards. Select the appropriate adjustment sleeve depending on the clutch size, then insert the centring rod. Press the rod into the housing and screw the small ring onto the top of the central pin.

Step 1. Place the clutch discs on the workbench, then insert the tool into the central hole and press down.

Step 2. Tighten the small ring to expand the sleeve located inside the clutch disc.

Step 3. Tighten the sleeves until they come into contact with the clutch disc, then unscrew both discs.

Step 4. Align both discs parallel to each other by rotating the inner part, then tighten the sleeves to lock the disc in place.

Step 5. Fit both plates onto the flywheel, then remove the assembly by loosening the small nut.
