What has changed following the update?
The GL-3s meter has been updated and now bears the new designation GL-3s-UV. A UV tester has been added to the meter and the software has been updated, making measurements even faster and more accurate, and the menu more user-friendly. Additionally, the meter has also been fitted with a completely new measuring probe and a new, high-quality zip-fastened case.

And what is the difference between the GL-3-UV model and the GL-3s-UV model?
The GL-3-UV model has a measuring probe built into the meter, whereas the letter ‘s’ in the GL-3s-UV model designation indicates that the meter’s measuring probe is located on the cable. All other parameters and functions remain the same.

ELECTRONICS
The device is based on a modern, high-speed processor and a new measurement algorithm.

PROBE
The meter has a probe on a cable. The cable length is approx. 65 cm.

MEASUREMENT
A distinctive feature of the GL-3s-UV gauge is its ability to measure on steel, galvanised steel and aluminium sheets. Measurement range (paint thickness): 0µm to 2000µm. Measurement resolution: 10µm or 1µm.

CALIBRATION
The gauge has a zeroing function (calibration) – a zeroing plate is included.

UV TESTER
The UV diode built into the device allows for the verification of vehicle documents and payment instruments.

HOLD
FUNCTION This feature is found in the most expensive meters. It allows you to take a measurement and hold it, so you can move the meter away from the surface being tested and read the measurement. The HOLD function can be disabled via the MENU, allowing for continuous measurement.

AUDIBLE ALARM
This is particularly useful when taking a measurement with the HOLD function enabled. Once the measurement is complete, the meter alerts you with a short beep.

BUILT-IN THREE LANGUAGES
From the MENU, you can select one of three languages: Polish, English and German. You can also configure the meter for other languages.

MEMORY The
built-in memory for 200 measurements allows you to easily review measurements after completing the measurement process. The memory is not erased when the device is switched off or the battery is removed

MIN/MAX
FUNCTION This function allows you to read the minimum and maximum measurements taken across the entire series of measurements.

POWER SUPPLY
2x R3 (AAA) alkaline batteries.

Thanks to its modern design, this meter is very economical. It requires just two so-called "thin alkaline batteries" to operate. The operating time on such a battery can reach up to several hours of continuous use.

BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR The
meter’s display features a battery level indicator. Thanks to this indicator, you won’t be caught out by a flat battery and can replace it in good time.

EASY TO USE
The gauge is operated via a 12-function main menu, and navigation is carried out using a 2-button keypad.
