Charakterystyka:

The GL-6XL paint thickness gauge is an innovative device featuring a function that uses an LED and an audible signal to indicate whether the paint is genuine, too thick, or whether there is filler present. The device is based on a modern, high-speed processor. The LED ASSISTANT function informs the vehicle inspector whether the car has undergone bodywork and paint repairs. When the function is activated, the meter indicates the condition of the bodywork via an LED and an audible signal:– LED off, no beep – paintwork is correct;– LED flashing, intermittent beep – second coat of paint;– LED lit continuously, steady beep – body filler or multiple layers of paint. The manufacturer reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of ranges when upgrading the instrument. The ASSISTANT function works both during continuous measurement and when the HOLD function is activated. It should be noted that the ASSISTANT function is intended solely to aid in the interpretation of measurements; it cannot serve as the basis for a definitive answer to the question of whether a car has undergone bodywork and paint repairs. Nevertheless, many people assessing cars do not really know what a given paint thickness signifies, which is why this function is designed to help. The measurement and all functions are shown on the LCD display. The measurement resolution is 10µm or 1µm (adjustable in the MENU) and the measurement range is from 0µm to 2100µm. The gauge has a zeroing (calibration) function – a zeroing plate is included. The meter is very intuitive to use. The device is manufactured entirely in Poland.
