Professional timing key is a specialized tool necessary for the servicing of drive units in trucks of the MAN brand. The device allows precise rotation of the crankshaft (e.g. to set the piston in the position of the GMP – the upper dead point), which is crucial when replacing the timing system, regulating valve looses or installing the injection pump. The tool design allows comfortable operation through a dedicated inspection hole in the engine block.

The serrated one. MAN shaft cap is characterized by a precise fit to the gear string, which prevents damage to the gear wheels and guarantees smooth movement. Thanks to optimal dimensions and standard drive socket, timing device significantly accelerates advanced mechanical work in heavy duty engines.
