The stand, via 4 adjustable clamps mounted to the block or casing, allows a removed engine, gearbox or cylinder head to be secured. The stand rests on 4 metal castors (2 swivel castors on bearings), allowing it to be moved freely. The mounting plate is removable and allows the mounted item to be rotated through 360° and secured against accidental rotation.
