The diesel fuel filter lever has been designed to allow the filter housing to be fitted without bending or damaging the sealing surface or the sealing material.

For 2.0 TDI common rail engines fitted with UFI paper diesel filter elements.

Saves time and money.

Helps ensure correct fitting of the upper part of the fuel filter housing.

It has been found that the UFI-type filter housing is prone to damage during re-assembly, allowing air leakage which may not only cause fuel leakage but also allow air to enter the fuel system, which in turn adversely affects engine performance.
