BMW N47, N47S, N57 1.6, 2.0, 3.0 Diesel timing lock – Magnus MGS01554 timing lock kit

The Magnus MGS01554 timing lock set is designed for setting and locking the timing in BMW N47, N47S and N57 engines. It allows the crankshaft and camshafts to be immobilised and the tensioner to be adjusted during servicing.

This tool, also known as the BMW Diesel timing lock or the N47/N57 timing adjustment kit, is used for chain replacement and engine repairs.
