AUTOOL SDT 101 Automotive Leak Detector

A professional automatic leak tester for pipes, hoses, fittings and systems using a smoke generator. This helps us to quickly and accurately locate leaks in pipe systems within a few minutes. The device can be used for testing the intake system, exhaust system, cooling system, vehicle seals, fuel tank system and various pipe fittings.

The device is powered by a 12V battery

AUTOOL SDT 101 – how to use:

1. Pour 20 ml of, for example, baby oil into the leak detector

2. Open the bonnet and hang the detector inside

3. Disconnect the tube that is to be connected to the nozzle.

4. Connect the generator to a 12V DC battery.

5. Switch on the power switch.

6. After 30 seconds, the tube will fill with smoke.

7. Check for leaks.

The detector has a safety feature: if it exceeds the operating limit (e.g. above 75 degrees), it will automatically switch off. In this case, please stop work and resume once the device has cooled down.

Once the operation is complete, you can drain the remaining oil by unscrewing the knob on the right-hand side, which indicates the oil level in the reservoir.
