Intelligent 6v 12v 7a battery charger

The SMART CHARGER 7 is an inverter-based, intelligent and portable charger for 6- and 12-volt lead-acid, gel, AGM, MF and EFB batteries with free-flowing electrolyte, designed for motor vehicles (petrol and diesel), motorcycles, motorboats, etc.

Automatic shut-off when the required battery voltage is reached and automatic resumption of charging when the battery voltage drops.

Depending on the function selected using the DISPLAY button, the digital display may show:

• V – battery voltage
• A - charging current supplied by the charger to the battery. The display will return to showing the battery voltage after 5 seconds
• % - battery charge level. After 5 seconds, the display will return to showing the battery voltage.

The 7-stage charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system adapts each of the 7 charging stages to ensure the battery is charged correctly:

• STAGE 1 – diagnostics – analyses the battery and checks whether it can accept the charging current; prevents a damaged battery from being charged
• STAGE 2 – pre-charge – low-voltage batteries are pre-charged with a low current, ensuring a longer battery life
• STAGE 3 – soft start – the charger gradually increases the charging current until full charging current is reached
• STAGE 4 – CC1, CC2, CC3 (Constant Current) – fast charging. The charging current is set automatically depending on the battery’s state of charge
• STAGE 5 - CV (Constant Voltage) - charging to 14.6V. Designed for charging batteries that are almost fully charged. Charging stops once 14.6V is reached
• STAGE 6 – Resting – completion of the charging process once the battery is fully charged
• STAGE 7 - Restoring - automatic battery monitoring. The charging process will resume once the battery voltage drops below 12.8V (for 12V batteries). The charger will restart the charging process from stage 1.

The chargers feature a microprocessor-based control system and LEDs indicating the charger’s operating status:

• SELECT switch for 6/12 V charging voltage depending on the battery’s rated voltage: 2A – 6V and 4A – 12V
• Power LED – indicates that the charger is connected to the mains
• Charging LED – indicates the battery charging stage
• Charged LED – indicates that charging is complete
• Error LED – indicates a battery connection error, failure to recognise the battery or incorrect selection of charging voltage.

Physical parameters

The charger housing has an IP 65 protection rating (splash-proof and dust-tight).

The device is equipped with protection against: overheating, sparking at the terminals, short-circuiting, overload and reverse polarity.

Single-phase 230V power supply. The unit is fitted with a power plug.

Delivery includes the unit with cables. Power cable length 180 cm, terminal cable length 180 cm.

12-month warranty for professional use. Warranty service is provided on a door-to-door basis with no transport costs to the user.
