The PROSTARTER 920 AUTOMATIC is a professional charger designed to assist with vehicle starting and to charge 6, 12 and 24-volt batteries:

• WET (flooded - lead-acid)
• GEL (gel)
• MF (maintenance-free)
• AGM (glass mat)
• EFB (for vehicles with Start-Stop systems)
• LFP (lithium iron phosphate)

The charger features a microprocessor-based control system, ensuring automatic transition to trickle charge mode once the battery reaches the required voltage and automatic resumption of charging when the battery voltage drops.

The PROSTARTER 620 AUTOMATIC has 4 charging modes:

• STD - WET lead-acid batteries
• GEL – gel batteries
• AGM – maintenance-free AGM, MF and EFB batteries
• 12V-LITHIUM – lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries

The 10-stage charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system adjusts each of the 10 charging stages to ensure the battery is charged correctly: STAGE 1 - Trickle charge – starts with a low current, then analyses the battery and checks whether it can accept the charging current; prevents charging of a damaged battery STAGE 2 - Desulphation – the battery is charged with a pulsed current, checking the degree of sulphation when the voltage is low STAGE 3 - Soft start – the charger gradually increases the charging current until the set charging current is reached STAGE 4 - Constant current – the battery is charged at a set current until the correct voltage is reached STAGE 5 - Analyse – a stage analysing the battery’s ability to hold a charge STAGE 6 - Constant output charge – once the required state of charge is reached, the system switches to constant voltage charging STAGE 7 - Recovery cycle charge – a stage of increased charge acceptance to compensate for the reduced charging current STAGE 8 - Absorption – charging with reduced current to maintain the appropriate voltage level STEP 9 - Analyse – stage analysing the battery’s ability to hold a charge STEP 10 - Maintenance charge – stage maintaining the battery (float) and monitoring its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary

The device is equipped with a digital display which, depending on the selected mode, can show: charging voltage or the battery’s state of charge (%). REPAIR – after connecting the battery and activating the function, the charger will ‘check’ the battery’s sulphation level. The charger will initiate the regeneration process if it "detects" a need for it TESTER - depending on the selected test mode, the device displays the battery voltage, charge level or alternator voltage. SUPPLY – a function that supports the battery connected to the vehicle, in order to offset the additional load resulting from specific operations carried out during a simple vehicle inspection/servicing.
